One of the ways I have found to manage my anxiety is through creativity. Whether designing a new piece of jewellery or working on a project for Earth n Dusk, immersing myself in something creative helps to quiet my mind. Turning ideas into creations provides a sense of accomplishment and control, which can be incredibly grounding.
It's important to remember that you don't have to face anxiety alone. Talking to friends, family, or a mental health professional can provide support and perspective. I've found that sharing my experiences with trusted individuals helps to lighten the burden and makes the anxiety feel more manageable.
Living with anxiety often means having to deal with setbacks and bad days. During these times, practising self-compassion is essential. I remind myself that it's okay to have difficult moments and that taking care of my mental health is a continuous process. Being kind to myself helps to reduce the pressure and guilt that often accompany anxiety.
Spending time in nature has a profound calming effect on my anxiety. Whether it's a walk in the park or a visit to the beach, being outdoors helps me feel more connected to the world around me and provides a much-needed break from the stresses of everyday life.
Dealing with anxiety is an ongoing journey, and it requires patience and persistence. By sharing my story, I hope to encourage others to find their own ways of managing anxiety and to seek help when needed. Remember, you are not alone in this journey, and there is always hope for better days ahead.
